Q: Just how long will the website migration process take?
A: While we cannot give you an exact ETA, because there are lots of variables, including the physical size of the files and databases, the location of the present host’s server, the complexity of your web site and the present workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we’ll try our best to transfer your website within 48 hours, and in some cases – within 24 hours (in case the content is not very large).

Q: What data will I be asked to give to your Website Migration Department?
A: We do not request any private details. We will require, however, the login information for your present web hosting account along with the name of the site that you’d like to move.

A: No. Your website will continue to be visible online during the transfer. As soon as everything is completed on our end, we will tell you so that you can preview it and check for problems. If everything’s okay, all you will need to do is update your domain’s DNS records.

Q: Will my present web hosting provider need to provide any info/help?
A: No. We’ll never contact your web hosting provider about anything. They will not be aware of the web site migration either.

Q: Does it make any difference what platform my present provider is using?
A: Yup. We support all common Linux–powered hosting platforms. We do not support Windows–powered web hosting platforms, as we don’t provide Windows web hosting solutions ourselves.In addition, we do not support proprietary web site building and administration user interfaces such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
